Problema deteccion memoria RAM2

Hola, al ejecutar el comando
sudo dmidecode --type memory

la información que me sale no es conclusa, no dice el tipo de memoria que tengo, qué puedo hacer? copio aca lo que surge en la consola

Una manera de saber el tipo de memoria es por la velocidad de la misma. Tome de tus datos los siguiente:

Bank Locator: Bank0/1
Type: Unknown
Type Detail: None
Speed: 533 MHz (1.9 ns)
Manufacturer: None
Serial Number: None
Asset Tag: None
Part Number: None

El dato que interesa es speed 533 Mhz, con eso busca en San google : sodimm 533 (para notebook) o dimm 533 (para pc) y podrás obtener el dato que deseas (que es lo que no indicas que quieres).

sudo lshw

te listara todo tu hardware y de todo eso rescata la parte de la memoria, esto es lo que a mi me muestra sobre mi equipo, ¿será lo que buscas?.

Puedo decirte que son de la marca Kingston, modelo KHX1600C9D3 de 4G, ya ves que reconoce los 8G, como dice el compañero puede que sea algo no compatible entre la placa base y linux, piensa que hay fabricantes que solo lo hacen para ser usados con Windows, revisa las características de tu placa.
