al principio ubuntu si actualizaba bien pero ahora aproximadamente hace 5 dias aparece un triangulo rojo en la esquina superior derecha, cuando doi actualizar software menciona "fallo al descargar la informacion del repositorio" y el siguiente mensaje :

los repositorios los tienes
los repositorios los tienes mal configurados, esos de , /dists/dapper-security.
prueba a cambiar el servidor, en el gestor de actualizaciones, selecciona configuración, y en la ventana que te sale, en la primera pestaña, software de ubuntu, descarga desde:
hay puedes seleccionar el principal, o en otro, buscar el mejor para tu zona:
luego que cambies el servidor, prueba a actualizar, para esto prefierpo la terminal:
sudo apt-get update
-+-+-+-+
Si el problema se soluciono, edita el 1° hilo, y agrega Solucionado, para tener el foro mas ordenado.
Y finaliza poniendo la solución para que sirva para otros Usuarios.
Dapper es una versión viejísima.
¿por que tienes esos repositorios? ¿Estas usando Ubuntu 12.04? si no, entonces este hilo no pertenece a este subforo.

diskulpa , esque si estoy usando ubuntu 12.04, pero bueno, supongo que a algo le movi sin querer, pero al principio si actualizaba bien, si mal no recuerdo supongo que hice algo mal cuando bajaba un programa de musica llamado "moc", lo instale y funciono bien, pero queria cambiarle el tema y encontre que un archivo debia ser modificado, quiza alli movi algo mal, pero si, es ubuntu 12.04 amigo, y tambien ya intente lo de el amigo de arriva a seleccionar el mejor servidor, y me da ese mensaje,, que puedo hacer hermano?

pero abre tu archivo /etc/apt/source.list con permisos de root, como a continuación te voy a decir:
1) Presiona Alt+ F2 y escribe: gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
2) Borra el contenido y copia y pega lo que hay aquí: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1010299/
3) Guarda y cierra.
4) desde Terminal haz:

si je je, quiza hize algo extraño, bueno supongo es normal con un neofito de sistemas linux, he tenido varios problemillas, pero me lo que mas me agrada es que todo lo ha sido solucionado gracias a la ayuda de los usuarios, muchas gracias pr la ayuda, un gran saludoooo..... pr cierto una ultima ayudilla, como pongo el tema como resuelto? busco la pestaña pro no doi :S, de nuevo una diskulpa, tengo a lo mucho algunas semanas con este sistema operativo....
Debes tener 2 pestañas así:

En la pestaña que dice "Editar" puedes cambiar el tìtulo y agregar la palabra "solucionado" entre paréntesis.
