[PROBLEMA] que le pasa a mi Flash?

Tenía instalado xubuntu 12.04 y todo funcionaba perfectamente, actualicé a 13.10 y reproduce las peliculas pero como se ve en la captura de a continuación:

Si alguien conoce la causa y solución estaria muy agradecido.

El html5 y cualquier otro tipo de reproducción de video funciona perfectamente.

ya intentaste con otro, puede que sean los codec de vídeo que provocan el problema. intenta reinstalarlos.

yo una vez tuve ese pantallazo y fue porque le GPU de mi laptop se recalentó.

Muchas gracias, pero los codecs estan correctamente hasta donde yo se. El VLC me reproduce perfecto y los videos HTML5 tambien bien.

¿No quieres eliminar Flash de tu sistema? Entonces comienza por decir que hardware tienes, principalmente qué tarjeta gráfica.

instalados en Firefox? Tienes instalado "flashinstaller" desde repositorios?
Segun tengo entendido youtube, desde hace un tiempo trabaja con el protocolo html5 asi que segun lo que comentas deberias poder ver sus videos normalmente y no como muestra tu captura. Tal vez el problema sea otra cosa.

Cuando inicio en recovery mode funciona perfectamente.

He descubierto que en modo normal el comando glxinfo me lanza lo siguiente:
~ $ glxinfo | grep -i render
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig

lo cual tengo entendido que significa que no se está renderizando.

y en recovery mode dice que sí hay renderizado opengl y algo relacionado con Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe
