Instalar modem Sagem F@st 800

Hola, acabo de instalar Ubuntu y no tengo ni idea de cómo conectarme a internet, ni recibir wi-fi.

Mi Modem es un Sagem F@st 800 y tengo el CD de instalación pero ni idea de como instalarlo. Se me abre todo en carpetas.

Alguien me ayuda?

hola:
yo tambien soy nuevo en esta guerra y me ayudo mucho el buscarlo en el foro .pon en el cajetin de buscar "moden usb sagen"te salen hilos que estan muy bien.yo tadavia no lo logre instalar debido a los errores que me salen,pero en ello andamos.
como veras tienes que bajarte unos codecs(si tienes windows instalado ,lo haces a traves de el y de google)y despues instalar programas con el sypnactys o algo asi.

A mí me ocurre exactamente lo mismo. Ayer instalé ubuntu y no hay forma de conectarme a internet. TEngo Adsl con Orange y un modem Sagem 800. ¿Hay alguna forma sencilla para que nos reconozca el modem? Un saludo.
