Agregar resoluciones al xorg.conf

Buenas, tengo un problema hace bastante con el tema de las resoluciones en el UBUNTU.
Tengo una placa XFX nvidia 5200 128mb. Intale con el envyNG los controladores que funcionan a la perfeccion. El problema principal es que ni desde el gestos de monitor de ubuntu ni desde NVIDIA X Server Settings puedo cambiar la resolucion a una mayor que 640x480.

¿Como puedo habilitar alguna opcion que me deje cambiar o agregar mas resoluciones?

Lei por hay que hay una posibilidad que es modificar el xorg.conf. A continuacion lo dejo para que me digan donde y como les tengo que agregar las resoluciones ya que probe de un monton de maneras y cuando reinicio las X me da un error en el xorg.conf.
