Amarok 2 sólo funciona en UbuntuStudio 9.04 como root

Hola a tod@s!!
Nada, seguro que es alguna chorrada que se me escapa, pero es curioso.
El Amarok 2 no me funciona en el UbuntuStudio 9.04, sólo funciona como superusuario.
Es decir al ejecutar Amarok 2 me devuelve este fallo:

Y sin embargo en modo root, haciendo desde consola sudo amarok, funciona que no veas.
En fin, espero que tengais alguna idea al respecto.
