Abro cualquier cosa y me regresa al login screen (Se reinicio el Server X)

Hola mis amigos, les cuento que hace poco instale el Ubuntu 10.10 soy un veterano en Ubuntu (Estoy con el desde el 8.109; pero nunca me habia topado con este problema. El problema es que cuando abro uno de los siguientes programas:

·Cualquier aplicacion que se abra con WINE
·Zsnes
·Cuando cambio la resolucion de pantalla
·Al iniciarse el ScreenSaver
·Cuando abro el GIMP
·Cuando cargo una rom en VBA Express
·Cuando abro algun ejecutable .exe
·Cuando le doy a Bloquear Pantalla
·Aveces sucede que le doy al boton de apagar pero no me apaga sino que simplemente me reinicia el servidor X
·Otros programas que por ahora no recuerdo
·Cuando abro algun archivo de Video
·Cuando abro el PowerDVD Linux

Se reinicia el server X de la nada; osea se pone la pantalla negra parpadea un rato y luego se regresa al Login Screen. ¿Que sera?

Ya probe utilizar en la terminal el comando GLXGEARS y si me salen los engranages, tambien probe con el glxinfo y me sale lo siguiente
