Increíble problema entre Ubuntu y kingston Data Traveler

Flipo con Ubuntu..., me va todo de maravilla, lo único es este problema, con el que llevo unos días.

El pen drive (USB 2.0) de 256Mb de Kingston "Data Traveler" y el Ubuntu (requeteactualizado) no se entienden. He intentado de todo, mount, supermount, hotplug, etc, etc, le he preguntado a gente que sabe un montón y nada de nada...

Pues yo tenía el mismo problema con un equipo idéntico (misma marca y modelo). El problema es la fat que viene de fábrica. Le dí formato de nuevo (en windows) y funcionó en ubuntu.
