Problemas con tarjeta de red de Acer Aspire 5750g

Adquirí recientemente el netbook Acer Aspire 5750g, hice la partición en Windows 7 (en Windows 7 si que funciona internet) para luego instalar Ubuntu y cuando lo logré instalar me llevé la sorpresa de que no podía conectarme a internet ni por cable ni por vía wifi. He buscado soluciones por diversos foros, incluyendo probar otros sistemas operativos como Kubuntu y Fedora; pero sus soluciones no me han dado resultado o no sabía como realizarlas. Espero que podáis darme una repuesta para que funcione mi tarjeta de red en Ubuntu (network NetLink BCM57785 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe). Gracias de antemano.
