Hola mis juegos 3D(ej:Counter Srike 1.6 y MMORPG) me corren lentos en Ubuntu 10.04Lts
(uso Wine y Playonlinux)
pregunta: ¿como soluciono este inconveniente?
anteriormente tenia XP y funcionaban bien.

Estas corriendo un juego que no fue escrito para ejecutarse en OpenGL, tampoco fue escrito para ejecutarse en Linux.

De todo el trabajo que hace el sistema para traducir las instrucciones y un uso desaprovechado totalmente de las funciones propias del kernel Linux respectivas a la generación de gráficos en 3D, por consecuencia, el juego esta lento.

Si los juegos te corren lento, No esta mal, es el desempeño del sistema con el juego así como así, a lo mucho se espera que tengas 6 Fotogramas por segundo, si tienes más, entonces wine hace muy bien su trabajo y no te puede ofrecer más.

Entiende que wine no es igual a windows, ni mucho menos en la ejecución de juegos con gráficos en 3D.

El log de tu servidor X, esta bien, no contiene ningún error.

Podrías jugar juegos Nativos para Linux, Podrías poner los juegos que más jugabas en Windows, y yo te daré algunas sugerencias, eso te podría servir, en Linux no existen tantos, pero hay muchos de exelente calidad. Un saludo desde Costa Rica.
