En terminal aparece esto:

pues de momento... lo que te dice el primer mensaje, así que
sudo apt-get update
y luego nos cuentas

Es el mismo desde que instalaste Ubuntu en tu computadora.

Ese no cambia a intervención del usuario, es decir si tu mismo lo cambias o haces una actualización a una versión superior.

Abres Terminal Ctrl + T y escribes lo que te indicó el compañero .doc.
