¿Ubuntu puede hacer esto? (chequear hardware)

Hola, desde que empecé a usar Ubuntu tengo el gran problema de que se me congela el ordenador pasado un rato, y tengo que apagar a capón.

En otro post he pedido ayuda pero nadie da con el fallo

Me pregunto si hay alguna opción o programa para que me diga ubuntu donde está el error, tanto de hardware como de software

Una especie de analizador de errores

Puedes ver logs con los sucesos del sistema en "Sistema/Administración/Sucesos del Sistema" o lo que es lo mismo: "/var/log/". Para comprobar los componentes del ordenador utiliza el comando:

lspci

lspci -vvv (para ver con más detalle)
